A thin crescent moon hung from the night sky like a beautiful pendant amidst the stars. The summer night was quiet and Ichigo tried to be as quiet as possible as he walked in through his front door, trying to make sure that he wasn't seen by his sisters or his father.
"Follow me," he whispered behind him as he took off his jacket and tossed it on the sofa, knowing where everything was even with the lights off.

Now I know that I'm going to get some guff from fans of NaruSaku and IchiRuki saying, 'But Naruto and Ichigo love Sakura and Rukia and those were the first girls introduced so that means they were meant to be together.'
No it does not. Naruto and Ichigo don't love Sakura and Rukia. They are friends and that's it. They wouldn't love them that way anyway. Rukia is a spoiled brat who cries to get what she wants and Sakura is a violent fangirl who sees Naruto as second choice.
